Applied in advanced fragrance formulations and perfume oils as a non-ethanol co-solvent, viscosity modifier, thickener, and flame retardant. Activates fragrance molecules and extends longevity, particularly in Arabic mukhallat blends composed of rose, musk, sandalwood, ambergris attar, and agarwood oils.
