Hexamine
It is white crystalline powder and is soluble in water, ethanol, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride, but insoluble in ether, petroleum ether and aromatic hydrocarbons.
Performance & Application:
Hexamine is used as a curing agent for resins and plastics, a catalyst and foaming agent for amino plastics, an accelerator for rubber vulcanization (accelerator H), and a shrinkproof agent for textiles.
